Thinking and conflict: transition; leaving troubled waters for calmer ones.
Thinking and conflict: resisting the move, or carrying the old baggage along.
The Six of Swords shows a ferryman guiding passengers toward calmer shores. In love, it suggests moving away from a turbulent period, either by leaving something painful behind or by healing together. The mood may be quiet and bittersweet, but the direction is toward peace.
Reversed, you may feel unable to move on, or you keep carrying old hurts into new situations. Emotional baggage can weigh the boat down. Consider what needs resolving before the journey can continue.
At work, a transition toward a more stable situation is favoured, such as a new role, a relocation or a calmer team. The change may be gradual, yet it helps you leave stress behind.
Reversed, a move may be delayed, or unfinished problems follow you into a new position. Changing desks does not always change the situation. Consider addressing issues directly rather than hoping a change of scene will fix them.
Financially, you may be moving out of a difficult period toward steadier ground. Progress is gradual rather than dramatic, like a boat crossing slowly to a quieter shore. Keep making sensible choices as conditions improve, and carry forward the lessons of the rough water.
Reversed, old financial troubles may resurface, or you feel stuck in choppy waters with no clear shore. Consider tackling the underlying issue so it does not keep travelling with you from one situation to the next.
Head toward calmer water, and leave behind anything that makes the boat too heavy.
